Fuel injection? Likely its got a wax idler or some decent form of auto choke that richens it up for the first few mins to warm it up/start when its freezing cold.
I'd not worry |

Well, a bit of a development yesterday on the way home.
It didn't rev high when started, however, halfway home the FI light came on.
Got home, checked the code on the dash and it said 63 - which is the exhaust valve actuator, so I set about checking it out and part of this was checking all the cables.
The actuator ones were way out of whack - which is probably what caused the fault light I reckon.
So I checked the throttle cables as well, and they too seemed to have been out of adjustment (like they were adjusted in terms of play, but not the right way - if you know what I mean).
All adjusted, chain adjusted and lubed for good measure, and took it out for another blat out and everything seems fine. better throttle response, smoother power delivery - so probably all related.
Checked it again this morning, and everything including the idle seems fine again. ____________________ Twitter is for people who can't STFU even when they're by themselves |
