I just cut a couple of recesses into the foam of my helmet for my V6 headset and ran the cabling under the liner. The mic doesn't have to be in front of your mouth - I have mine at the bottom of the chinpiece on my Shark (the helmet has a wind protector across the front).
All I did was to take the velcro pocket off, draw round the headphone then use a scalpel to cut round the line to the required depth, scored criss cross inside the circle to the required depth and use a flat bladed screwdriver to remove the excess foam. Dead easy. |
