Xj600 sprocket bearing removal

Any ideas on the best way to remove the old sprocket carrier bearing at all.

Think will need to replace, due to the amount of rust I cleaned out of it today!

Is the rust actually from the bearing? Or elsewhere?

All around, but when you rotate the hub you can hear it grind, I've used some bearing oil in there to smooth it for the moment, but there is plenty of play in there!

When I needed to remove the same bearing in the one on the FZR I placed it in the oven on a low heat.The ally carrier expanded more than the bearing and it tapped out reasonably easily.

When installing the new bearing,store it in the freezer the night before,then heat the carrier.It will push into place more easily using a large socket than using a drift

Concrete rawl bolt and a drift or slide hammer.
