Just got a Sony SW3 just to see what they're like, seems cool so far.
What are other people using for custom watch faces? The stock ones are a bit crap, I'd prefer ones that at least show the weather too.
I like that it has WiFi & GPS so doesn't always require a phone, wish it had an IR port though. I always wanted one of those remote control watches as a kid ____________________ KTM 990 SMT & Suzuki DR-Z 400 SM |

Jogging & bike rides no longer require a phone for Strava.
Maps on the wrist.
Easy access to notifications.
Was cheap enough @ £82 just to see what the crack is, not usually a watch person to be honest. My normal watch is a Casio F-91W ____________________ KTM 990 SMT & Suzuki DR-Z 400 SM |

A Swiss made Omega watch with a mechanical movement will never get obsolete. And when the owner decided to sell the watch, there will be someone willing to pay him.
A smart watch on the other hand, looses it's value from the moment you take it out of the store. Also, if, or rather when, the manufacturer/software provider, decides to stop supporting your smart watch, it becomes a pointlessly overcomplicated digital watch quite instantly. ____________________ '87 Honda XBR 500, '96 Kawasaki ZX7R P1, '90 Honda CB-1, '88 Kawasaki GPz550, MZ 150 ETZ

You obviously missed the
Technology is seen as disposable these days.
I bought mine to try out the technology and was surprised to find that I miss having the convenience of it if I leave it at home.
Personally I'd never pay more than a couple of hundred £ for a watch - traditional or digital.
As for Swiss made - well I do like Toblerones. ____________________ Current bikes: Honda ST1100 Pan European. Moto Guzzi V85 TT Travel |

Surely you can go to the pc to check emails.
Why would you want the convenience of a smartphone? ____________________ Current bikes: Honda ST1100 Pan European. Moto Guzzi V85 TT Travel |
