Has anyone else encountered such and if so, how were things sorted? |
Shouldn't be a problem, when the vehicle isn't recognised, you have the option to create a new record.
As others have said though, last week they introduced a new system and it's a pigs ear of a thing, so could be that option wouldn't work for them - either that, or they haven't got their head round the new interface yet.
Anyway, it should be easy to overcome, take it somewhere else, or call the original tester and ask them if they've managed to find the right button. ____________________ Things get better with age; I'm close to being magnificent........

The bike was supplied with incorrect plates by Bennetts Motorcycles Barnsley. The original keeper rode/pushed the bike around blissfully unaware for around a year.
It's been off road and garaged ever since I purchased it from him as scrap/salvage. It was only when a MOT was sought, after restoration, that a problem was identified.
Ironically, the bike could have been used without hindrance from Her Majesty's Finest as a bike with the incorrectly issued registration number is taxed, tested and insured! ____________________ A good loser will always be a loser. |
