“Investment in the creative industries pays for itself,” said the corporation. “This is because the licence fee channels resources into one of the most productive sectors of the UK economy, the creative industries,” the BBC said.
“A move to a broadcasting levy on all households is our preferred alternative to the licence fee,” it said. “Such a levy on all households would obviate the need to identify evaders and would be a fairer way of ensuring those people who use only BBC radio and online services contribute to their costs”.
What about households that don't listen to, or watch, any of the Marxist shit that the BBC excretes? ____________________ A good loser will always be a loser. |

I assume that they mean "culturally".

Details?
All I can find is an announcement of "closing the iPlayer loophole", but no indication of what that will mean.
It could mean:
Require proof of license tax to watch on iPlayer (the simple, easy to implement, hard to dodge, common sense option).
Extend the license tax to cover on-demand viewing and continue the campaign of blackmail and prosecution (the bloated burdensome pointlessly heavy handed bureaucratic solution).
Can you guess which one I reckon they'll go with? ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

If They[1] couldn't control Pravda and push Their Common Purpose agenda[2], what would be Their incentive to continue?
[1] They being the current lot of champaign socialists and faux-Marxist meddlers.
[2] All races, creeds and colours working together in perfect tolerance and harmony, from each according to their ability, to each according to their need. Just with the leaders needing a bit more than the followers. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

Well we let governments/politicians away with murder in every other form of taxation so why not for the 'privilege' of telly?
I have a few vehicles (that are taxed). I cannot ride all of them at once but have to pay road tax use it or not. (I do know 'road tax' isn't for using the road.)
I'm not saying this latest scamism is right or fair.
Speed cameras are an historical scam too. How many general elections have there been since 'scamera partnerships' (Corrupt Quangos) were introduced?
Why do we return these fucking idiots (politicians) to 'power'?
Why not run them all off?
Truth is, no one (the electorate) really gives a fuck or probably knows how to deal with such issues.
There are MUCH bigger scandals on the go. Jeremy Hunt (Health-Ministery-Cunt) is currently at the heart of one of the biggest. Who actively gives a shit?
So long as the masses have a regular dose of BB, TOWIE, MIC Strictly and X Factory all is Rosie.
George Orwell even alludes to this behaviour in 1984.
