Maybe, to get you barely up to test standard. It really depends how you take to it on the CBT. Sorry, not helpful, but honest.
Not suitable for A2, if that is actually what you meant. Are you 19-23, or 24+?
In any case you'd need to put in a fair amount of practice first, either on private land, or be smart and lucky. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

Ask your instructor at the end of your CBT session - he will be in a much better position to give you an intelligent answer, based on his observations of your riding ability over the duration of the course.
There is a chance that you could pass the tests by pure luck - but I don't see that as an advantage. ____________________ Honda Varadero XL125(V8)

Let's say I tried my hand at being 'smart and lucky', with no lessons (probably not smart), and just trying to pass first time. The only bike I could practice the figure of 8's and slalom on beforehand is the ZX-9R...which isn't in A2 range. So...let's say, theoretically, I get a little loose on the law-abiding citizen front and practice with the ZX-9R on an empty car park. Is this bike an absolute NO to practice on? I understand it's too big for me if I pass the A2 but I just want something to practice basic manoeuvres on in case I opt for no lessons (though I probably will just get lessons)...obviously before I jump into the water I want to know how deep it is. Or is this more like sinking sand?
But what I'm thinking is, try to pass 1st time, if fail- lessons.
I'm 19 on Saturday. |

If you practise until you can do the slow manoeuvres on a ZX-9R then they shouldn't be a problem on a sit-up bike. However, you will have to adjust to whatever bike you find yourself using on test day.
Either way, you will need to find an A2 bike for the tests, and to have insurance that covers your use of it - Bikesure (and possibly others) will cover you on your provisionaL entitlement.
Test centres don't provide them any more than they provide cars and no training school is going to rent you a bike just for your tests - you'll have to either do a course with them or source a bike yourself.
If you're going to get your own then you might as well do your be-lucky practising on it.
It is possible to do A2 on your own bike, it's even possible to do it legally if you're sufficiently determined, but it's pretty unusual. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.
