I have all my bike related keys on one keyring, but the ignition key is attached with a little clip like this;
https://jjoness.files.wordpress.com/2011/04/trigger-keyring.jpg
That way i can detach ignition key whenever i'm riding.
also, the bike keys have a mini carabina so i can attach them to my car/house keys to keep everything together. |

Get a matching lockset for the boxes. That's one less key.
Where do you keep the disclock? Keep the key with the lock when not in use. Saves losing it.
Strip of helicopter tape/protective film on sidepanel around the lock takes care of the scratches/chips. Use the proper 3M stuff.
How do I do it? I don't give a shit. Keys gonna scratch. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”

I think the key change has been can be attributed to visibility in the office infrastructure, office community, you can follow or customize to your own security needs. ____________________ 100HomeRemedies |

I have a lanyard with the same type of clip, like you I just unclip my ignition key from it when in use. I wear a
lanyard because I hate having things in my pockets. ____________________ Currently enjoying products from Ford, Mazda and Yamaha

I don't "manage" it at all, actually.
I suppose I haven't really thought about it, although yeah, the scratched tank thing is a bit annoying
I do have different keyrings for each bike, though, else that would be tedious. And a different keyring for the garage keys.
The Harley keys (despite being the only set that has a rubber keyring tag) rattle quite annoyingly on the air filter* the whole time the bike is running. It kind of bothered me at first, this constant tinkle tinkle tinkle, but eventually I have managed to unhear it.
Until riding with his Maj last week, when he was pulled up beside me at the lights on Whitehall and in abject horror went "WHAT IS THAT NOISE?" (he's very sensitive to annoying sounds )
Probably ought to find a solution, for the sake of his sanity...

Hmmm, thats not a bad idea, it would certainly keep his Maj happy ( ) but the Harley keys hang from the side as well, and there's only two keys (chain lock, ignition).
I suppose on the GPZ I could use one of them, it would prolly sit alright on the tank. Plus there's more keys for that one. Although there's some kind of clip-on arrangement on the handlebars as well (for putting your phone / GPS apparently) and it would get in the way of the keys.
Lot of fiddle-arseing about on these things, int there? ____________________ Not nearly as interesting in real life. |

I bought this https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0037H7S6C
It works really well, i can get keys on and off it with my gloves on.
Vincent, why do you think i have worked for the prison service? The Jagermeister lanyard comes from my undergrad job in a bar. Used to have my till key and a corkscrew on it.
All my toes are still attatched. No extra ones. 6 unbroken ones. ____________________ Bandit. does. everything. |
