 |
|
Hey everyone im planning to do my A2 license soon and have been looking ito it for a while ... i really want to get myself a nice offroad bike that will do fairly well in trails and maybe even light track use. i would also do some commuting on the bike but it will not be my main vehicle so that isnt a big concern ive been looking at the wr 250 as i have a feeling the 450 is ... not allowed with an a2 ? i might be wrong but can someone reccomend me some bikes that may be a good option they dont have to be anything stupidly special i dont expect them to go liek a rocket offroad and do 80 plus without reving to hell i just want something that i can enjoy to ride on and offroad and has a nice bit of power to it thanks everyone |

Looks bullshit spurious. Just for example.
The WR450F appears to claim 42.3kW.
Is 42.3 more or less than 35?
At a claimed 123kg wet, that would give it 0.34kW/kg.
Is 0.34 more or less than 0.2? ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

as for experience wise i have a lot to learn but i have been riding offroad since i was around 11 years old on 125 2t and on a few trials bikes on easy courses so i like a challenge but im no way near an experienced rider i guess i would say but i do like to have power under me problem im having is the place i will be commuting to is about a 10 mile ride which isnt bad buts its mostly a 60mph road .. so looking for something that can handle that and also be fun offroad is hard as i like t o push my limits whenim not on the road |

No easily available power figures. Weight is 113kg, variously claimed as wet and dry. That would limit it to 22.6kW or ~30hp for A2 use. I'd be surprised (and sad) if it made that little.
Eh, go for it, just be prepared for some head scratching if your insurers say "Prove it's A2 compliant." ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

That's... surprising. But that's as close to an official source as you're going to get, so go for it if you can find one.
Royal Jordanian on YouTube just got one after his Nuda got stolen, but he's got another Nuda now. Offer him 5 ponds for his 511! ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.
