What a cheap cunt you are. Gear is not expensive, you have more choice than ever. A full set of acceptable gear can be had under 100 quid and wouldn't surprise me if the pockets more waterproof than the dianese bollocks I bought first time round. Yearly you say... Some of my gear is over 4 years old and has a lot of miles, and does not need replacing (yes some does.. when I find something worthy of my cash!)

Why should the government have any part supporting the bike clothing industry, of which very little made in the UK and is mostly fashion rather than functional products, with half the stuff being utter shite and way over priced... I would not support this idea!

The gov has helped, for example the sharp helmet scheme.. Id quite like to see it expanded to crash testing other items... boots/gloves/armour etc..

Move to Belgium - motorcycle & motorcycling equipment (as well as your fuel) is tax deductable over X years if you use it for commuting.
