Do durable motorcycle covers exist ?

MANY years now with no issues (I don't use the stakes, just the tarpaulin). Think I gave a fiver for it.

I just use these to fix it to the bike.

I have had serious issues with covers in the past living in area with outside parking from theft, dirt, even had a mouse eat my wiring. The thing that kills me the most is someone nicked my cover I bought recently. I found a cover that solved everything and will never go back to the old style cover. In 45 seconds I cover my Ducati is a TES full enclosure cover. This cover is amazing, its lined, 100% waterproof, dust proof, fully encases my bike with vent holes that even are filtered to not allow dust to get in. I parked my bike and lock the cover and no worries as now I have a mobile garage that folds up easily and placed in my backpack! I left on business for 3 months came back and unzipped my bike and was amazed how clean it was!! when i used to keep my bike outside on the street i had a heavy duty one. Still got it actually, its fully waterporoof with internal lining and heat protection near exhausts. It also has moulding for the mirrors which is open at the bottom so allows it to breath.

Did 2 winters with this and it was amazing. Its still as new now. I'll see if its got a make on it tonight for you, it wasnt cheap but well worth it.

I think that's the Oxford Stormex one... I had one for my little cbf, made the mistake of getting an R&G one for current bike. R&G can't make covers, it's totally shit.

Need to buy another one soon..

I spent a lot on an Oxford one, which was lined etc. Lasted under a year on a CBF125

I now use these, dirt cheap and last well. Crucially, they have chain loops front and rear as some of the Oxford ones only have front. Aside from being more secure, it stops the wind ripping it off.

I have just got the stormex one, does seem good quality. Only problem is that the airvent on the top sits over my seat, but the tail is a bit higher - we have had the perfect weather (non-stop since i got the bike) to prove that the rain runs down from the tail and straight under the air vent cover and through the little holes Shocked

I recently came across this on this forum somewhere. Its somewhat pricey and cant comment on its durability as I havent had it long. However I will never go back to a standard cover again, way to much faff.
