No offence here but if the chain and sprockets look so bad, makes you wonder how well the rest of the bike was treated
I love the RS125! lovley machine. Was my second choice other then a ZXR. Should sell pretty quick. ____________________ Big Kawasaki ZXR 400 project here:

B*stard B*stard and double that.
Being a rider only and not a mechanically sounded lady AT ALL, I didn't know that
Will get it sorted, asap, only went into a supposedly reputable garage not long ago and had work done to the tune of £300 ... supposedly making it completely road worthy and lovely ! Bloody hell, I'm well miffed.
Adds meaning to the phrase 'They saw you coming'.

OOO and just to give you an idea on price at the moment, a friend just sold a 2002 rs125 in the same scheme as yours with 6000km on the clock for £1400 so you may want to rethink your price (maybe) or perhaps advertise in spring when the value will be about what you are advertising it at.
If you want a good price try biketrader.co.uk, if you just want rid try ebay.co.uk. |

Hey Shell, you could always take the chain and sprockets off, soak them in parrafin over night, then clean them up properly, bit of polish on the sprockets, and new lube on the chain. mite get away fine with that.. ____________________ Big Kawasaki ZXR 400 project here:

Think I might have a go at cleaning them up, had a good look today and they are mightily dirty. Stoke must be the dirtiest place on this planet !!! I also have a Silver Focus that needs a trip through the car wash at least twice a week
Failing that, if anyone wants to make an offer, minus the cost of replacing, i may just reconsider. As I am in the process of moving house and need a washing machine, ikea double mattress, dining table n chairs, microwave and obviously cushions If anyone is flogging any of the above (minus the mattress let me know) |

you dont want to soak it in parafin or anything as the chains have rubber O rings and parafin will destroy it. just clean it with WD40 and a brush. ____________________ New bike https://www.bikepics.com/members/rizo9/01rs125/ |
