Put it back as it was, wait till you're old enough to buy something bigger.
Anyway, make it stock again, to see if the problem goes away. ____________________ '87 Honda XBR 500, '96 Kawasaki ZX7R P1, '90 Honda CB-1, '88 Kawasaki GPz550, MZ 150 ETZ

You've bought a vehicle designed to do 30mph and no more
you've done some modifications to adjust power without completing the process, the amount of fuel going into the engine needs to be adjusted now that you've altered the flow of exhaust and the engine size.
either the carb needs setting up and the correct jet fitting or, if electronic ignition it needs mapping.
you'd be better off putting it to stock, selling and getting a 125cc if you want to do more than 30mph ____________________ Looking to pass your CBT / Bike tests in Bury Lancashire? try www.focusridertraining.co.uk Would recommend.

Didn't like the answers that you got last time?
https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?p=4233711
We have a Workshop section where you'll be told to put it back to stock again in a much[*] more polite fashion.
[*] in the same sense that putting your Stage Eleventy Big Bore Head Power Valve Band kit on has made your ped "much" faster. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

Remedial arithmetic: 125 is more than 65.
You're trying to turn a moped into something that it's not. Even if you do magically get something like 50mph out of it after spending many hundreds of pounds and putting in countless hours of careful tuning, it'll still have 28mph brakes and suspension.
Stop pouring money into it, sell it on to a 16 year old, buy yourself an unmeddled-with 125 that will do a real 65, and don't meddle with it.
With hindsight you'll realise that this is sound and well intentioned advice, not a challenge to your throbbing masculinity. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

Mo-Ped.. compound abbreviation of Motor-Assisted-Pedal cycle.. it's not a fucking audi.. its a push-bike for the lazy!
1/ would you ride a push-bike up the jewel DUEL Carriageway?
2/ No-One makes you ride a moped.
3/ no-One makes you ride a moped up the DUEL Carriageway
4/ There is a wonderful thing called maps, you can use to plot any number of alternative routes to work in this country.
5/ Mopeds are 'daft'. they aren't 'cheap' any more; they cost as much to tax as a 125. They cost as much to insure, as a 125. They might use a tad less fuel... IF you aren't thrashing them every-where to get anywhere.
6/ TUNED mopeds are even Dafter. They are still 'slow'. IF they even move under their own propulsion for very long, they soon become a 'Push-Bike' that without pedals, is very VERY slow, slower even than one with pedals and no assisting engine, when you have to 'push' it!
When you aren't pushing them, though, the 'economy' they didn't really have to start with is even worse.
AND, well, as a tuned moped isn't a moped, its a 'motorcycle', if insured as a moped... its probably invalid.. might still have the reg-plate from when it was a moped, might still have the frame number from when it was a moped, but its not a moped; its not the vehicle described on the registration document, and not the vehicle you bought insurance for. PLUS.. if you exceed 30mph on the thing.. pretty bludy obviouse that its not a moped, and not the vehicle described on the registration, AND you are exceeding statutory speed limit for both the vehicle you 'claim' it to be, and the licence entitlement you 'claim' to be operating it under...
You may as well be hung for a sheep as a lamb and slap the moped number-plate on a Hyabusa.. its actually a few 'less' crimes on the potential rap-sheet! AND some genuine 'speed' for the effort, and without such chance you'll spend more time pushing the damn thing and trying to get piston rings out of smeared piston ring grooves in a nipped up piston than actually getting anywhere...
7/ Bikes will only ever go as fast as the wheels can turn. You can tune an engine as much as you like, and get as much power from it as science will allow.. BUT, with a fixed gear-ratio between the crank-shaft and the back wheel? Unless the crank-shaft turns any faster, then neither will the back wheel!
Adding a big-bore kit, only makes the hole in the engine where fuel gets burned bigger. This means you may get a bigger bang, and might get more 'torque' on the crank-shaft, IF the rest of the engine has been 'matched' to actually fill that bigger hole with extra fuel to burn to get extra torque... and that may allow you to change the gearing to go faster.. but, without changing the gearing.. it will just pull more willingly to the same sort of revs it is designed to and go the same speed.
8/ More mods, to make mods work, demand more mods to make them work, and you get into a cycle of spending ever more money, to make even more problems, reduce reliability, and increase the amount of time spent pissed off with spanners NOT getting anywhere, than you do in the saddle getting some-where.... slowly. even more 'daft'.
In short.

You're doing the right thing with the exhaust and big bore kit, you need to fit a stage six or seven carb kit for a bit of extra oomph, get some mag wheels to reduce unsprung weight and upgrade to ohlins suspension to transform the handling, you'll soon be able to give Marquez a run for his money with a bit of practice. ____________________ Beer, It's the reason I get up every afternoon
