Tdr250 tag id/id info

Ok have given up on tdr250.uk cant acess site and admin are not responding.
Collecting a already stripped tdr250 on sat.
All numbers match and hpi check is clear.
Know its a 3ck
Going to check numbers again on the side of the headstock.
Main query is some seem to have a silver plate on the frame some dont?
Assume if its a uk bike should have a steel swingarm?
Any id tips etc would be appreiciated.

bit of a pain trying to find the right rivets to stick the plate on iirc so after powder coating the frame there is no need to stick the plate back on as the frame is stamped anyway

yes a jap bike has an alloy swinger and the uk bike has steel

mine was jap, and had a jap spec TZR250 2xt engine with extra ports and plated bores, jap bikes had no engine numbers only the model prefix

my login for the tdr forum works fine, and so does the site

was probably one of the most fun bikes I ever had besides the triple

Yes UK bikes have steel swing arms. I think its just the Japanese imports that are alloy.

Be patient with tdr250.uk they do take a while. I ended up emailing them after a couple of weeks at admin@[website address] and was registered within a couple of days.
