Best to get to a J&S / Infinity shop and try some on.
There are Oxford, Draggin Jeans, Hood, Red Route, Sartso (being some of the main names).
I have had Draggin jeans, and now have some Oxford ones. They work well. All have a slightly different cut and sizing, as with normal jeans.
I believe some also have more kevlar lining than others, although not sure which (Oxford and Draggin have sections of kevlar as opposed to 100% kevlar lined). ____________________ Yamaha RXS 100 > Honda CD 250 > Honda Hornet 600 > Honda CBR 600RR > Yamaha RXS 100 > Kawasaki ZX6R J2 > Yamaha FZ1 |

Lidl/Aldi do them periodically.
Much cheapness. Unlike many makes, large sizes are made for big people, not fat people. So they have more room between the waistband and gusset and longer legs, not just larger waists.
I find many makes to be very tight in the crotch area. Draggin being one of the worst for this. Trying them on is a must.
I also have a couple of pairs of red route ones which are comfy and a good fit.
I've never found a set in which the armour sits well and is sufficiently restrained in the right place. As such, I remove it. I think ill-fitting/poorly restrained armour is just as likely to cause an injury as prevent one. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. I removed the lining from my leather trousers, it made a huge difference, they're not uncomfortably hot in the summer any more.
If I want some more insulation, when its cold, I wear them over some long johns! ____________________ "Everybody needs money, that's why they call it money!" |

I'm very happy with the Hornee Jeans I bought last year, think I gave £40 for them. I think they are the same firm as Spada?
You wear the spandex supported knee pads separately to the trouser which helps them stay put and reasonably comfy.
I have taken to wearing that same set of knee armour with my leathers as well for the same reason. ____________________ Currently enjoying products from Ford, Mazda and Yamaha

I have a pair of RST kevlar jeans, they have kevlar panels on the arse and knees, and adjustable/removable knee armour. I don't use the knee armour as it's not wide enough and doesn't sit well on the knees so I see it giving little protection in a spill. Otherwise they are extremely comfy jeans and have plenty of room between the legs. ____________________ I want your clothes, your boots and your motorcycle.
