So catching up to a bell-end on a Honda with a nice Polite Notice vest on, thinking to myself "cockwomble, twunt".

This guy takes it a step further, he's wearing one of those shark lids with the lights in them. Now I thought these were pretty cool when I saw a guy in one coming toward me, black lid with a soft green glow. Oh no, this guy has flashing orange lights front and rear on his helmet.

Pulled up to the lights together, I actually shook my head, as he shouted across "alright mate" or something, wasn't listening.

inb4 My story is the coolest you've heard this morning, bro.

They do and when I was looking for a new helmet I was considering one. As I said, the black with soft green glow looked cool. But white with flashing amber. I don't think so!

Story is an obvious fabrication, only GS riders wear novelty hi-vis.

I demand a vlogging.

The disease has definitely spread to one Triumph Tiger rider who commutes out of Portsmouth. Saw him again this morning filtering with his hazards on. White helmet, white bike, spaktard vest.

I've a shark skwal as well.

Never use the lights as it's never charged. The fit is great on it tho which IMO is a lot better than a couple of fucking LED's

I am working and staying in London at the moment,

Saw a biker on a black cbf125 and l plates, grabbed my attention as I want one,
Looks good for what I need,

Anyway he had full camouflage on, top and bottoms army style, green and so on with the patterns,

What's the BCF opinion of this?
I'm a newbie admittedly but I found that slightly amusing and abit wrong for a biker to want to be camouflaged,
Yes it's London but in my bored mind working away on my own i just pictured it on country roads

It could well have been army surplus goretex stuff. A cheap way of decently waterproof bike gear.

Whether you wear camo and ride a black bike, or wear hi vis and ride a white bike, cars don't see you either way.

I like the thought of a Shark Skwal but I can't help being worried I'd look like the adult equivalent of those kids with light up trainers!

Lol I use to like those light up trainers,

I'm not a biker myself really in all honesty, it is my aim,
My post is just my observations and stuff,
I am just thinking about different things through out my days now

Riders wear what they want, fair enough. But these Polite vests over the top are just annoying, even more so when it is evident they are really trying to look like the police.

I was going to give 10/10 for safety and visibility on the roads, then realised car drivers and the like would probably swerve to hit him instead.

I just think about bikes as I dont have one,
I also think about getting out of God damn London and back up to the Midlands where I live,

The biking world is new and exciting to me, Good to have that at the age of 29 really, who knows what I would have done if I didn't find the interesting world of biking....

In my experience; high vis over rider and bike, diffused 'different' lights and so do make a difference. More other road users do see you.
Especially mixed with a loud exhaust and riding appropriately - so at least you've already anticipated those that don't, giving them the best chance to do so.

It's not a conspiracy against motorcycles, drivers aren't going to see you if they don't look.
