Oops, I read that as 4x4 and reflexively Off Topic'd. My bad. [frantically rates other posts]
Carbed, right? It should bump, although I'd prefer to roll it downhill or have someone else push it rather than try to jump aboard. A charger or jumper cables are cheaper than replacing fairings.
But do you reckon the battery is dead? Workmate leaves his Bandit outside over winter and it fires on the button every spring. It's like a cockroach, it just won't die. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

Took 3 attempts on a fairly steep hill to get my MT-03 going, then the battery wouldn't hold a charge (although it had been sat for ages). Honestly I'd just take the battery off & try charging it/get a new one if you need to. Bump starting a bike's dodgy, people have killed themselves doing it |

Might as well try bumping. Just find a friend or a hill. ____________________ My Flickr |

I was going to say, as with the above
Make sure you have your choke on. I was kicking myself when my XR125 would fire up after 2 attempts on a hill. Then flicked the choke on and it fired into life
Use 2nd gear instead of 1st. Less likely to lock the back wheel up when you disengage your clutch.
Compared to singles and twins, IL4s don't have serious amounts of compression that would make it difficult to bump, so M.C. that would be why your bike took 3 attempts (battery condition permitting). ____________________ The Tot 2019 Z1000SX - 2007 R1
