exhaust swap now not running properly

Hi I have a wk 450 rx which is a crf450x rip off basically

It has a standard can with a built-in cat but no sensors so I have swapped for a full system off a crf450x

It now struggles to start and when it does it cuts out when reved

Any tips would be great

not enough fuel to account for the increased flow of the new system? try turning the pilot screw out half a turn and see what happens

edit: if adding fuel to the idle circuit helps, then its almost certainly a fuel issue. A reject may be needed or the same will likely happen under load

Under powered 450 single.

Add powerful 450 single free flowing exhaust.



An exhaust change alone will likely make a large difference on something like that.
