 |
|
If any of you new ikers are like I was last year, then you will find sharp/fast corners, braking in the wet, riding at night, fast gear changeing, road positioning and other road users a bit daunting.
I did! I have been knocked off several bikes in the last year, all total losses. This has lead to me sitting at home trying to understand why, what the hell did I do wrong. Was it the road, someone else, bad light?
After doing this and reading lots of helpful advanced riding articles, I came up with lots of answers of my own. I have been studying what exactly riders do on the roads and what bikes do underneath them, so as to help others (and myself) understand the theory and the unknown about biking.
I have published several articles to help you lot stay aboard you motorbikes and not get had by captain volvo on the school run!
To view them, click here.
I hope you guys read this and take it in, it might just stop you damaging yourself or your bike! ____________________ TL1000R Parts For Sale! |

Very impressive cunni, thanks.
One thing I can agree with, noise saves lives!
Riding my zx6r down the carriageway yesterday, main beam on, stuck the indicator on to pass the car in front. Just as I started to pull out the silly Bitch pulled out No indicator, to pass the car in front of her. Bearing in mind I was sitting at about 65mph, I panicked.
Pulled the clutch in to down gears and opened the throttle at the same time. The micron can did me proud!!! And the silly bitch in the megane near crapped herself. She pulled back in and clipped the car in front of her.
We all pulled in on the hard shoulder, the woman admitted she hadn't seen me, and said if she hadn't heard me I would have been over on the other side of the road.
Sorry about the long post, but the noise of the bike did save me.
Thank you Micron,. ____________________ https://www.bebo.com/Z1000-Wildkat |

Ha ha, I once knew someone who used to sand paper his tyre with his bike on the paddock stand. He came off first island! Nothing like riding to scrubb it in! ____________________ TL1000R Parts For Sale! |
