				| Hi guys, (Sorry if this is in wrong section i'm new xD)
I recently passed my CBT and bought my first bike off of eBay which is a Pulse Adrenaline 125cc. I bought the bike on Friday and when I viewed it, it started fine and rode fine.

This morning I tried to start it just to see if it was still running fine and it wouldn't start!!

Here is a video of the problem https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cur8IMapyC4

Any advice? I was wondering if the battery could be out of juice, but this is the first time i've had any road vehicle and have no idea about mechanics and not sure where the battery on the bike is located xDD

Also another problem is when you click the rear brake it does not turn on/trigger the brake lights, any ideas?

I would very much appreciate any advice/help!

 Thanks guys!

				| battery is flat. battery is probably under the seat.
you can adjust the point at which the brake light comes on by turning the adjuster on the rear brake light switch

next time put it in the workshop section. welcome to the forum

				| First thing you'll want to do is to check the level of the electrolytes in the cells
 https://p.globalsources.com/IMAGES/PDT/B1091578118/Lead-Acid-Dry-Charged-Motorcycle-Battery-12v-9ah.jpg

If any of them are below the lower level mark, top them up with distilled / deionised water which you should be able to get from a garage, a moderate sized supermarket or at a pinch Halfrauds.

Next, while it's charging, get yourself a cheap multimeter and work out why it's flat. I'd take a wild guess that the charging system is hosed, and the seller just charged up the battery enough to get rid of it.

Don't just start throwing random parts at it, you can easily turn a simple fix into a very expensive one.

Once the battery is charged you should get a voltage of about 12.5V across the terminals. With the engine running, it should rise to about 14V, maybe a little more if you rev it. Much above or below that and you've got a problem, and we can take it from there.
