Ordered some shorty pazzo chinaland ripoffs on the 15th may from this guy on hebrewbay with the expectation of a 3week delivery.

I ordered 10 backstreet boys plectrums from a chinese seller (I was in the pub having a laugh with some friends and the highest bid was 7p.). I won them for 11p (including p&p), they arrived 2 weeks later and they were batman, not backstreet boys. I would've complained, but they're actually nice to use and way cooler than what I ordered. There's no way they didn't lose money on that sale.

I genuinely expected them to not bother posting them as I doubt I would've bothered chasing them up for the 11p.

I understand how they can sell items so cheaply, as they are mostly direct from the factory, but how do they do shipping so cheap. Afterall the Chinese post office must pay Royal Mail for the final processing and shipping here in the UK.

I appreciate that they're not made from the same grade of materials as the likes of Pazzo and ASV but why on earth are these branded ones so expensive?!

After all it's less than 10 components, all easily manufactured by CNC...

I just cant see where a £100+ price tag comes in.

Fitted them a few minutes ago, zero problems with fitting just remember to remove the inner sleeve from the clutch pivoty bit.

I've got the silver version on my triumph. They're much nicer than the original triumph levers, no problems in the last few years.
I've noticed a few of my more recent Chinese orders have arrived quicker than I'd expected.

im sure someone will be along telling you that youre going to die because they saw a vid of someones best friends cousin crashing at oulton park and blaming levers that were fitted badly then not checked by the operator.but it was the levers fault.gods honest truth.

i orderd a £15 quid set expecting them to be utter garbage.
over a year ago and 11000 miles later and they work as they should and still look like new.

I have a set for the Busa but haven't put them on yet. I've used the eBay cheapo ones on every bike I've had so far, never had any problems.

Granted, I'll avoid the cheap clip-ons after seeing the video of one snapping mid corner...

IME cheap levers tend to snap rather than bend in a drop. That's about the only quality difference.

So the guy didnt fit them properly.

A BCFer bought some many years ago, they didnt fit correctly but he used them anyways.
He crashed, he didnt die, he did have an expensive repair bill.
