Bing Maps has an OS map layer

Not sure if this is old news, and didn't know where to put it, but for those who are into their outdoorsy stuff, Bing Maps has an ordnance survey map layer with full detail. Absolutely amazing, in my opinion!

Just need to have a Microsoft account and log in to access it.

There are various OS map apps for Android devices. I quite like 'UK Atlas Free' and there's even an app made by Ordinance Survey themselves.

In summary: fuck Bing.

There are various maps online, but not necessarily that scale OS
For example it shows greenlanes with green blobs so easy to check, also the detail goes right down to field boundary level which can be useful.

Also https://www.streetmap.co.uk/. It has 1:50k and 1:25k maps as you zoom in. It's old skool and a bit clunky, but I use it a lot for checking out what's a footpath, bridlepath or byway. No registration or account needed.

They've had that for a lot of years.

As above, no need to log on.

They also have better 'isometric view' maps in many places than google.
