thats a shame looks like u wil have to send it off but if your in a rush to get it back ring up the dvla and tell them a porky like u have got ur cgt booked for next week and u need it back fast and they will give u an address to send it to with a cover letter explaining why u need it so fast and that should speed things up. thats what i did and i had my licence back within 7 days
im an impatient man |

hmm mabye u will be ok as the paper counterpart is just as valid as the card to be honest i would check with the people you will be doing you cbt with to make sure its ok or ring dvla. mabye someone else on the forum will know...but saying that if u have a full licence you can ride a 50cc with L plates and you can do you cbt on a 50 so your probably ok, argh im confusing myself now
i think you can over analise these things sometimes |

depends how much you pay for the bike, i paid 300quid for mine and the insurer valued the bike as around 400quid and the excess on fully comp just wasnt worth it if the bike was recked by someone else. for me it just came down to making the insurance as cheap as possible and ill just have to be very carefull and tbh the cg is f@#king bomb proof anyway |

If you've got provisional A entitlement on your paper counterpart then that's fine. Though naturally you still have to do your CBT
Always look through all the comparison sites for insurance... I ended up getting my cheapest through Swiftcover, insured by Devitt. £180 TPF&T
It is a very cheap and very reliable mode of transport. I get 85mpg on my 90mile commute every week. (CG) |

i voted for CG125 obviously, but i like the CBF125 , and have seen alot on the roads probably the most common bike i see on the roads now, hardly ever see a CG.
I didnt know anything about fixing problems before i got my CG, although I have a good knowledge of electronics so that helped me with the wiring , although that was a really easy fix. haynes and some tools is all you need, genuine honda fork oil seals are like £10, and michelin pilot sportys are like £60-70 a set which is great considering they are really great tyres.
even though im going to be doing A2 , as its easier and cheaper, i cant see myself getting rid of the cg, it goes 60MPH and as long as oil is changed every 1000 miles i cant see their being a problem, although disc brakes would be a big improvement ____________________ Honda CG125 BR-S 1995 + cg125 W |
