MOD 2 Discrepancy

I've been driving almost a decade. I've drove All Over the World without incident or a parking ticket for that matter. Failed my module 2 test on Friday no Minors 1 serious for a rear observation whilst changing Lane in which I believe 100% I made the necessary left-hand lifesaver yet it stands my word against the examiner I do not wish to come off like a sore loser and I know the examiner is just doing his job and wrote down what he believes he saw alough there other factors that could of come into play i e he was doing his necessary check whilst I was doing mine vehicle could of been obstructing his view. point of the story is why the hell does the examiners not wear a camera on the motorcycle or on the person so such things can be reviewed such a thing would be conducive to those that fail to pinpoint where they can improve but no I am 100 spondoolies out of pocket and have to wait one month to resit . And let's not forget I can just do a CBT a days course and Ride where the f*** I want 😠

I imagine it would be a nightmare to have each test reviewed first.
There would be twice the amount of examiners needed at least, as the workload would at least double. There is currently a shortage of examiners as it is, so as good an idea it is, making it work in the real world would be only in the interest of the person paying the monies. As there is no competition, they really don't care too much that you have to spend another £75 for a retest. The examiner is only answerable to himself, if he thinks you are safe, then he will pass you, if he thinks you are unsafe, he will fail you. It's that simple really. Examiners don't work to quotas and are not really hitlers, they are bikers and when all is said and done, know their onions.

Just take it on the chin and go again.

Other factors do come into play. If the examiner thinks someone is ready to ditch the L plates then they could mark something down as a minor rather than a major.

Examiners have a bloody good memory. Moment I walked in to the conference room (if you like) after doing my second Mod 2 he turned round and said "you've done that route last time and you failed on ___" had been a decent gap of time inbetween and he got it spot on, had me stumped somewhat.

Unlike on the test where you think about anything and everything and have a thousound and one things in your head once you've passed your test and are out on the road on your own you don't even notice the checks that you're doing and they all come naturally when you need them.

Module 2 is just the basics of safety. The real learning starts once you've passed the test.
