'Have' and 'of', are not interchangeable.

Anyhow, shit happens, get out there and do it again.

I imagine it would be a nightmare to have each test reviewed first.
There would be twice the amount of examiners needed at least, as the workload would at least double. There is currently a shortage of examiners as it is, so as good an idea it is, making it work in the real world would be only in the interest of the person paying the monies. As there is no competition, they really don't care too much that you have to spend another £75 for a retest. The examiner is only answerable to himself, if he thinks you are safe, then he will pass you, if he thinks you are unsafe, he will fail you. It's that simple really. Examiners don't work to quotas and are not really hitlers, they are bikers and when all is said and done, know their onions.

Just take it on the chin and go again.

Get over it and get over yourself.

Examiners having cameras would just encourage sore losers to bawwwww even louder.

I heard a rumour that your butt is hurt.

Other factors do come into play. If the examiner thinks someone is ready to ditch the L plates then they could mark something down as a minor rather than a major.

Did you tell the examiner that you've driven All Over The World without incident or a parking ticket?

Next time, massive rubber neck. Pretend you've got no mirrors, look over your shoulder every time.

Also, custard test and paging mods to the IP check, that's Mr Mods to check the poster's IP.

Unlucky, but honestly I'm so glad they don't record the run, a minor mistake due to test nerves could fail you, even if you are safe to ride alone.
Positives and negatives I guess.

It can seem a little hostile to newcomers here, but it's a trial by fire.
You are just one of many who posts in this section incorrectly, personally I blame the parents (Admins) come on Rog sort it oot. Wink
I say do away with it and post Biking News in General Chat.

With a picture of you, your bike, and a tin of custard. Bacon or fish would also be accepted.

Sad
I know BCF traditions are what they are, but custard is the Devils work Sir!
This may be shocking as a Scotsman, you likely grew up on a diet of Angel Delight mixed with custard. Very Happy

1) Cost, especially for examiner's time.
2) Examiners would invariably spend huge amounts of time arguing the toss with every single failed rider.

Examiners have a bloody good memory. Moment I walked in to the conference room (if you like) after doing my second Mod 2 he turned round and said "you've done that route last time and you failed on ___" had been a decent gap of time inbetween and he got it spot on, had me stumped somewhat.

Unlike on the test where you think about anything and everything and have a thousound and one things in your head once you've passed your test and are out on the road on your own you don't even notice the checks that you're doing and they all come naturally when you need them.

Module 2 is just the basics of safety. The real learning starts once you've passed the test.

That might make them and the dicks at the DVLA slightly accountable and we can't have that.

On the other hand part of me thinks this is yet more encouragement for people to ride around without bothering with such things as tests which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
