 |
|
08 YBR 125, fuel injected model. I need to increase the idle speed as it is quite low and will stall occasionally at traffic lights etc.
After some googling and ending up finding some old BCF posts, it seems the only adjustment is the screw circled in red below.

Clockwise turning reduces the RPM. It is already as far anti-clockwise as it will go.
Is there anything else that could cause it to idle too slow or does this need an ECU mod? |

I was having a fiddle yesterday and basically forced the little brass screw from my opening post a tiny bit past where it stops. Maybe 1/16 of a turn and it has increased the idle ever so slightly and it seems fine now. Probably not ideal but it is working great, I can go 5 minutes at near full throttle down an A road and pull up at a roundabout and just let go of the throttle with no risk of it cutting out. |
