Just after a second opinion/suggestion.

After an epic day at Santa Pod last year with some BCF boys, my gearbox has felt shitty. (CBR600F)

A bit sloppy with shifting, not very crisp feeling at all.

And the most noticable issue since has been a rumbling sensation with the engine running that goes away when the clutch is disengaged.

So I get the feeling that I may have killed my gearbox output shaft bearing(s).

I've had the front sprocket cover off to see if I can give it a wiggle but I couldn't do anything conclusive.

Should I whip the engine casing off (clutch side) and give the clutch basket a wiggle? And give the other end of the output shaft a wiggle too.

OR is there a "proper" way to look into this?

This is normal

You could adjust the chain but if its really on its way out the seal will probably go before the bearing puking out oil which will give you a warning.
