Sounds like you've fucked something up putting the rear end back together. Rear wheel straight, chain right length etc?

what sort of wobble?

theres light rear end wobble
massive tank slapper
and everything inbetween.

odd youre having issues with wobbles, mine was so planted and only had 1 wobble and that was when i had tyre slime in the rear tyre.

Hi Ash ,not a problem this one , just a matter of getting out the rear wheel and drifting out the old bearings , if you have got the bearings already put them in the freezer ,it will help when you come to install them, its a matter of keeping everything clean when you install them and dont force them in , if you have got some long bolts and sockets you can make a puller. Have a look at Haynes manual Section 7;20 Thumbs Up

Done mine recently, just coz it was apart for other stuff. The wemoto kit for the rear bearings is fab. 2 wheel bearings, seal for offside, carrier bearing and seal, little over 20 ponds... even I got them fitted without mucking it up, using a long screwdriver to twat the old ones out, and a big socket to nudge the new ones in. Don't forget the spacer in the carrier bearing centre.

You wont know that until you get whats left of that chewed bearing out, but expect the worse, but the outer race of the bearing might have saved it Thumbs Up

Just one of those things Ash, I think you can see some rust on the wheel bearing , so you have had an egress of water over time and they have just rusted, are your bearings of the sealed type or have you bought dust seals as well Thumbs Up

The looks like it has been fucked for a while, I'd to all 3 bearings personally.

The oil seal is useless now Ash just prise it out , your gonna need new ones, then its a matter of drifting out the bearing , the block of wood is only to get some leverage when you get your screw driver under the lip of the seal Thumbs Up

When you checked the rear wheel did you try wiggling the sprocket carrier?

Yes Ash , but be careful when you attack the bearing from the other side ,put two lumps of wood under the rims to keep the brake disc of the ground so as not to damage it ,if there were circlips there they would be underneath the oil seal Thumbs Up
