The scrambler looks fun, although I'd imagine that doing the clearances on the rear cylinder would be something of a challenge.

Are Ducati claiming any sort of off road worthiness for the Scrambler, or is it all just hipster bling, to cash in on beardiness?

I was hoping the 950 Multistrada would be a little lower than the 1200, I don't think it'll make enough of a difference. Love them but the 1200 is just out of my reach height wise. Shame about the double sided swing arm and the fact it weighs almost as much as the 1200 too. Still I'll be having a good look if they have one at the NEC show.

That's a lot less than Honda's vision of the same bike though - especially now 188,000 euros is about 188,000 quid; it's a shame because before the exchange rate became so grizzly I was going to buy one

Wrong as it may be, I do really like this new breed of stylistic hipster bikes. I'll have a scrambler, or equivalent, one day - but only alongside something more in keeping with normality.

the desert sled will replace the urban enduro, which is an accessory bike whereas the desert sled is properly off road capable, they've strengthened the frame and the swingarm pivot, they say this is what they really wanted to build but couldn't at the time
