The neoprene must be a different design? The big furry muffs can take whatever you are packing.

The neoprene muff must be a bit tighter. You could use the palm of your hand to bash the muff on. I've had varying degrees of success using my fist.

The ones I have use a little lock-ring held together by zip tie to hold them on at the switch side of the grip - still got the rubber bung to stretch over the bar end at the outer edge

Same as mine, they take a very thin cable tie, the only one's I've found that fit are way too short so I have to chain three together.

I never fitted or used them properly, but the cable ties that came with my pair are 250mm x 3mm.

I have had the same problem this week.

The ones the come with the muffs fit, but normal ones don't.

Go to pound world, they do a set of small cable ties that consists of tiny ones in different colours and in the same pack in the middle they have long thin black ones.

These fit.

If I remember tomorrow I'll try to update this post with a pic.
