Water cooler - is it worth fitting it?

Currently running an i7 at home, on standard clock etc.

Thought about possibly OC just to see what increases I can get.

Proc currently has the Intel standard cooler & fan.

I have got an old (unused) watercooler in my spares cupboard, is it worth fitting it. The cooler is a couple of years old - would the coolent need to be changed etc!?

Just wondering if its worth all the ball ache though?

Depends what cooler it is. If it's Corsair, then it wasn't worth fitting when you bought it

I purchased this product based upon the favorable reviews and for the promise of a low-maintenance water-cooling solution.

After a little over a month, the domino suffered a complete failure; I opened up my computer to find coolant fluid all over my $500 Evga graphics card. One of the cooling hoses had almost completely separated from the radiator unit. Fortunately, the coolant does not appear to have permanently damaged either the card or system.

I can only infer that either the design for the Domino is flawed or that coolIT are using extremely cheap materials to manufacture the product.

Either way I would highly recommend that people avoid this product.

***UPDATE 08/10/09: IT HAPPENED AGAIN!!

Against my better judgment I gave the domino a second chance after amazon offered to send me out a replacement overnight for free. Well, I've used the domino for less than 2 months and the exact same thing happened again! Fortunately, this time I caught the leak early and nothing in my system appears damages. This is conclusive proof in my book that the design of the domino is fundamentally flawed.

AVOID THIS PRODUCT AT ALL COSTS!!

Stock cooler sounds like a angry wasp - everything else is silent, kinda like a submarine just with less seamen

I dont really do anything heavy to warrant OC so will just replace the cooler etc..

I've not personally had problems with my H60 but then again i'm just one bod out of a few thousand.

Like Cansa said Antec had a good rep.
If you're afraid of using water cooling get a Noctua.

Bought my H50 years ago, at release. I downgraded from a custom loop as I wasn't needing silly cooling any more. Zero issues, ever.
