Hi everyone. Picked up a 2013 lexmoto xtrs 125cc on the cheap. On the book its a 125-23 engine. Ive adjusted the valve clearence to the following. Inlet 008, outlet 011 (wansnt running at all before adjustment, was just all wrong). video below explains most of it though sorry for mic going shit when running but bike went very loid. Any help mich appreciated. Thank you.

You said it yourself, it's running excessively rich, and the idle has been wound right up to try, possibly to try compensate. Dial them both back down, a bit at a time.
To anticipate the next problem, it won't idle slowly, I'd wonder why it's ended up in that state. Potentially the idle jet is clogged, the owner's cranked the idle speed up to get it running off the main jet, and then done something wacky like raising the needle height, because sportsbike = needs moar fuels. Alternatively, the idle jet has dropped right out (if it's a jet rather than a bushing). Something something carb something, either way. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.
