Wheelying a moped? It's not going to have the power, and there's no clutch either. I suppose it might be possible, but I'll be damned if I know how. ____________________ I must not be a troll...

Is possible. Done it once on moped.
Sit right at the back of the bike and basically pull as hard as you can to get it up.
You might want a full fuel tank to let the fuel add extra weight to end of moped. ____________________ Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who supply it. I could do it on a Piaggio Typhoon very easily. It is quite similar to the NRG. Just pull the bars hard as you accelerate from a slow speed to get it up. Thats about it really. I could twist the handle bars in the air whilst i was doing it. Also it helps balance when you stick your left leg out abit. I don't know why it just does |

Ill help! You lean back, i will pick up the front wheel for you.
my mate had a malaguti crosser that would wheelie. funny little scooter that was. he used to lean it right over until the centre sctand was scraping too.
Id say sit as far back as possible with the bike stopped. then simultaneously yank back the bars and open the throttle full whack!

Ok ill tell you, legs off back DOES teach you at the start, i learnt by dangling legs off, now i can wheelie with feet over bars, sitting as far forward as possible and standing on seat.
And yes that is on a 50..........a zip to be more precise.
Just sit back twist and when you feel the thrust pull back, remember finger over rear brake, but dont slam the brake otherwise you will do serious damage to ped.
Remember practice makes perfect, dont get the hump if after an hour you cant do it, 10months later you will be as at home on 1 wheel as you are on 2, well took me 10months anyway.............
Now i have to learn stoppies, any advice?
That wheelie pic up top looks like you are going round a bend on the rear wheel or about to lose it................. ____________________ 94 fzr600r |
