Hi, bought one of these off ebay and it arrived today (in great time, credit to the seller) and I fitted it around tea time. Just took it out for a test (about ten mins) and when riding it was fine, when stationary, such as putting bike in the garage it fogged up. For those of you with FOG CITY visors, does this happen? Am I expecting too much here? Its just that without the insert I got the same characteristics!

Just as an anti-fog visor, I thought fogging up wouldnt be a problem Brick Wall

I've never had any trouble with Pro Grip visor inserts. The only time they should fog up is if the seal around the each is broken. This causes the ambient weather condition to get in, making it very prone to fogging.

Stick with them, they're great products and pretty good value for money. Very Happy

No, it doesn't.

Either the Progrips aren't as good (I've never used a Progrip and there's a post above mine saying they're okay) or you haven't managed to fit it so that it's sealed correctly/well ... Sad

I find my Fog City will fog up in very low temperatures when stood still, (basically subzero), from frozen breath on the inside.

Same as FZR6. They go a little blurry at worst. Usually if they haven't been cleaned in a while.
**Clean them with a soft cloth, gently!**
(I managed to scratch the anti fog coating off my old one)

Been to work in it today and its been ok I must admit. Theres no ambient weather damage or whatever from bad fitting as it had only been fitted last night and been out in the dry for ten minutes!

The fog was on the inside of the PROGRIP not between the progrip and the visor. So it did fog up.

Anyway, seems ok now, I was probably just expecting too much!

I have had a fog city insert all winter and its the best 15 quid iv spent in a long time. Works a treat. Never steams up, even in freezing cold.

Not too sure how they work to be honest. They just stick on the inside of your visor. It will almost certainly fit your lid. I presume they have a water repelant layer, or a layer that does not let water condense.

The progrip was almost too big for my agv, couldnt get the visor to open and close correctly until I placed it right at the bottom of the visor. If my lid had been any smaller I would have really struggled!

Be careful with the hyperoptics (colour changing). They are too thick for some Shoei helmets. Better stick to the original if you're unsure.
