When riding I can feel when the tyre pressures are significantly low, so no. I think I've gone through the gadget phase and now appreciate simplicity. Also, the previous owner of the R1 fitted anodised valve caps which were noteably heavy and may have been the cause of a split in the base of the valve stem, causing a slow leak. It's one reason I avoid 90 valve stem fittings.

I want a proper bike TPMS and looked at the options 6 months ago. This requires removing the tire and fitting a new stem with the sensor on the inside. I could not find any that fit normal jap bike wheels - bmw are different size valve hole.

The most common are shitty valve cap types. They hold the valve open, also add quite a bit of weight - best with a metal bolted stem not a rubber push fit. This seems to be another valve cap type and would be very sceptical if it is any better than the chinese offerings.

I just see those sensors as extra weight, cost and complexity.
Check before riding, possibly during (if you suspect) and after.

I have tpms on one bike but not on the other.
I like on the one bike but it's not really something I miss on the other.
Heat grips are better value. 😂

My Triumph has them. It also comes with a bill of £150 (+ wheel/tyre removal) every 3or 4 years when the batteries run flat.

That saying I do like having them as you can have the pressures on the dash board or just rely on warning light when they drop about 5 psi.

I leave it up to the fitter to put the correct pressure in when I buy a new tyre, although maybe I will start checking them regularly because I'm fed up of being killed every day because I don't check them
