Another wreck, this one has some small frame damage, not disclosed, so not written off.

When whoever did whatever, the steering was turned hard right, breaking off the lock stop on the bottom yoke (yet another one!), but worse putting a small dent in the outside apex of the offside triangular cross-section top frame tube, as if someone had pushed the ball of their thumb into it by about 1mm.

Unfortunately, the dent is right in the middle of the VIN sticker!

A full frame where the VIN sticker can be seen as well as the frame tube arrangement is pictured here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RIEJU-RS3-125-FULL-FRAME-WITH-V5-REG-PLATE/283235065597?hash=item41f2201efd:g:bxIAAOSwN3lco05-

Is this an MOT failure?

It would be possible to:

1) Remove the sticker (VIN is also stamped into steering head), fill, spray.

2) Make a small hole in the flattish back of the triangular tube, insert a thin drift, tap the dent out.

Perhaps there are other possibilities.

Just make out like the plate has partially rubbed off by a hose or something. I'd take it for a test and see what's what. I can't see it being an issue personally but I'm not an MOT tester.

It's the slight dent that worries me. The sticker I think could go, the VIN is stamped on the side of the steering-head.

There's no apparent structural integrity issue in the pic I can't see a tester being bothered at all by it.

I'm not an expert but personally I wouldn't think too far into this one. At first I was expecting a snapped frame member!

Is there a wire or even a fake piece of wiring loom that could be routed over that section?
Binning the sticker - They can be remade.

I agree with the above. They WILL fail it on a broken lock-stop though.

The lock stop is on the yoke, so a new yoke should be grand.

The bottom yoke's a bit of a side-issue, really; however! I bought a good intact used one (hen's teeth!) a little while ago for £30 including a decent inner ring + rollers still attached, but look at this if you can bear it:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RIEJU-RS3-125-2011-2012-2013-2014-2015-BOTTOM-YOKE-USED-MOTORCYCLE-PARTS/192887978876?hash=item2ce904fb7c:g:N2AAAOSwz7NcsJkH

Mouseover both pics for the full horror. I only include that for entertainment. I am not going to buy the poxy thing!!
