gsx600f clutch problem

hi newbie here with what maybe a daft question i have a gsx600f that i am slowly getting back into running order after sitting for 2 years. i have just removed the cluch cleaned and reoiled it, and replaced it exactly as it came out but previous to removing it i could slip it into gear and turn the back wheel by hand now i am still able to engage the gears but the wheel will not turn, any ideas would be greatly appreciated. How much of the clutch did you take apart? Just take the plates out?

On the Bandit (and the Teapot which has the same engine I presume) the clutch cable connects down to a unit on the sprocket which then pushes a long rod through the gearbox to the centre of the clutch. Often there is a ball bearing at one end of the rod and these can get lost. Worth checking, depending on how much you have stripped down.

hi i took the plates out and the sprocket that the cable is attached to along with the rod that goes from it into the engine.
