so i recently bought a keeway superlight 2011 with 7500 miles on the clock, and a spare engine plus frame for quite cheap.

the spare engine is a later model efi k157fmi
im going to put a big bore kit on it and use the carb and maybe do a rejet. now the issue i am having is that to start the bike i need to kickstart it as there is no power, i changed the battery, fired up fine out the workshop but when i powered it off and tried restarting there was no electrical power. no neutral or indicator lights working. it seems like the battery died but i tested it and its at the correct voltages. i have made sure it is grounded correctly i dont know much about electrics so any help would be appreciated!

It's a generic Chinese bike, they're all much of a muchness.

Take off the plastic side panels and seat and a good chunk of the electrics are exposed for inspection. IIRC the fuses are under the nearside plastic panel.

Thank you so much I checked the small red box leading from the positive terminal and a little fuse was in there but it had come away. Pushed it back in and the bike start d straight away! Thanks!
