Hi all Can anyone help me with my gsxr125 Its a 68 plate and recently i've had trouble with it cutting out when i come to a stop at a junction
Seems like the idle revs are not high enough. Is there an easy way to adjust the revs so i can bring them up a bit?

Thanks for your help

Check the user manual. It’ll say in there. Isn’t it still under warranty with the dealer?

It`s not a case of adjusting idle revs just after 2 years, as xX-Alex-Xx states it could be a warranty job.

Rolling Eyes

With the bike in neutral and the engine running what's the idle speed like versus what the manual (workshop, owners or Google search) says it should be?

If it doesn't have any issue with running of its own steam in the above condition (at a standstill in neutral) then see if it changes when its put in gear and the clutch is pulled in -- maybe all the way (or as far as you can without excessive force).

At a very basic level it comes across that (1) you're either a new rider adjusting to the machine or (2) it just needs the clutch adjusting -- as you only mention this issue occurs when coming to a stop.

Very basic thing to do if so, and saves you a trip.

What service history?

If it is missing some service adjustments (Procedures), parts and etc. then it may not run as desired.
