Finding Bike Parts

So, after being off the road for 8 months due to thefts I have been bought a new bike.

Its a china jobby so meh but its better than nothing at this point.

I am trying to nail down what "bike" it is as searching the model on the side panels gives nothing.

Its a Wuyang and the Wuyang WY 125 12c seems to be the closest match for it but I have also found a make called Takasaki that uses what looks like the exact same engine.

Has anyone seen this make before or another bike using the same engine or even another bike that is the same as this?

Ebay has some parts but it would be nice to find another bike or 2 that uses the same parts as well.

I believe it's a Wuyang WY125-12, Takasaki, Birelli or whatever other names you find it under will be badges glued on by the exporter or importer.

For engine parts find the model code of the engine, it will be common with loads of other Chinese bikes. It'll probably be 156fmi or 157fmi

It seems that pretty much all Chinese 125s use one of two engines, so finding service parts and information for that will be easy. The only model-specific bit on the whole bike is likely to be the bodywork.

Here is a odd one.

I was taking apart the speedo etc to try and repair the LCD (Cant) but I found this small circuit board and LED that says call indicator.

I have no idea what this is, do you?

I was thinking some kind of Bluetooth thing when I saw the antenna but then there is no chip, its all passive components.

I'd forgotten they exist, they were in some Chinese bikes, if they detected a mobile phone being used nearby they made a light on your dash light up. They were shite, rarely worked and if they did work it would be someone in a car next to you who's phone was ringing.

I'm not going to be able to help with that one but if you describe exactly where you found them it might give more information for someone else to shed some light on it maybe.

Looks like they were under the seat?

Also looks like all three plug stems are wrapped up neatly in the same loom so probably not for something MIA. I'm going with same wiring fitted to multiple models and maybe these three plugs being redundant on your model for whatever reason?

Could try hooking up a voltmeter and playing with the switchgear on the bike (just jab every switch and button you can see and think of) to see if you get any fluctuations in voltage as you meddle.
