Does anyone know how to gain access to the battery compartment on left side of yamaha ybr 125 where I think battery is located as ignition key won't work! Sad

It's the wrong key, or the lock is seized and turning it makes it feel like the key will snap (ie: you'd rather not put too much pressure on it and try)?

edit: I did mean to ask "is it the wrong key" rather than to forcefully suggest, my bad.

I agree with this post.

If the ignition key won't work, it could also be wear of the key, or the lock itself. If you live in a cold place, it could also be that the lock has some water in it, which has frozen.

Did it ever work?
If it did previously, try pushing the cover in with one hand as you wiggle the key with the other.
