Find someone with a welder and weld a nut to it.

Beware of murdering any fragile electronics !

Perhaps gas for this application but much more of fire risk !

Just don't set it on fire or murder any electronic stuff.

Post a picture of engine and broken stud for clarity

I had exactly that situation:

Suggestions above are very good - but If you can't get the mig sorted out try this - it's not as professional as the mig but it will get the job done:

Soak the stud (where it enters the block) in penetrating oil (e.g. plus-gas etc).

Give the end of the stud some light taps with a hammer - this will help to break up rust/crud in the threads that is keeping it seized and will also help to work the penetrating oil into the threads.

Get a manual impact driver that comes with slotted bits (Halfords do one for 15 quid)

Cut a notch in the end of the stud with a metal hack saw - wide enough to take one of the slotted bits that came with your impact driver.

Fit slotted bit into impact driver and set impact driver to anti-clockwise.

Put the impact driver and it's slotted bit into the slot you cut in the end of the stud - hit the end of the impact driver with a hammer - it should start turning the stud out.

If this doesn't work heat the the stud up immediately before you use the impact driver - you can get a cheap propane/butane mix torch to do this.

The exhaust port is side-on on this machines isn't it? So you should have the space to position the impact driver and swing the hammer.
