Morning y'all,
Does anyone know if there are any inherent compatibility issues with a relatively high res laptop screen (in this case, a 14.5" screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1600) connected to a relatively low res external monitor as a second screen (24" 1920 x 1080)? I seem to keep hitting an issue where the second screen image is distorted quite badly (fuzzy), not the monitor as turning it off and on doesn't resolve it, but if I disable the second screen output from the laptop and re-enable it the image is OK.

It matters on some laptops. My workshop one (Elitebook) requires a monitor of it's native resolution in order to not distort the screen. It's a known driver issue that they never addressed. ____________________ a.k.a 'Geri'
