Any tips to reduce engine vibration YBR 250

Hi there

I just bought a 2010 YBR 250, 8k miles, immaculate condition, but the engine is hellishly viby, so much so that my partner gets white finger and cannot take it above 60 mph as the vibes effect her vision.

Shame because she loved her YBR 125 so thought it would be the ideal upgrade to be able to ride at motorway speeds.

I know singles are inherently viby but we test rode 2 other YBR 250s and one of similar age and mileage was much less viby even at high speed.

The one we bought was the cleanest example but from a dealer that doesn't allow test rides, and sitting on it revving the engine I kind of optimistically convinced myself it was no worse than the others.

Anyway, is there anything that can be done to help with engine vibes, any sort of tuning?

If it is relevant at all the gear shift is more difficult on this one than the others we test rode.

Should have just taken it straight back to the dealer and told them it's broken.

Edit, has anyone messed with the timing of the balance shaft?

Engine mounts tight?

Well I’ll state the obvious, something is not right?
My friend has one and he joined our little tour of Wales (Wales failed, breakdowns & weather) last year .
No mention of being particularly excessively vibey? and at times we were traveling above 60mph without any issues.

I'm assuming your partner is using the YBR250 then.

Possible quick fix is some doughheid has blinged the beast and fitted non OEM bar ends.
Bar ends serve two important porpoises.

1st to prevent the bar from 'apple-coring' you if you fall off and you/someone hit/s the end of the bar.

And as a vibration absorber.
With enough mass in the bar end engine vibration felt through the bars is dampened.

Sometimes they get called Bar End Weights. Makes you wonder why?
