For some reason I decided to tell my bosses that I was working between Xmas and NY. I have no idea why I did that, as I have untold holidays to use up before March (or lose them, no more post-covid rollover).

So NOW I have to actually achieve stuff today, when I'd really rather be dozing in bed with the cats.

Mad stupid woman! Mad

Hmmm? How about knitting fog Eh?

I did think about trying to thread needles whilst absolutely pissed Shocked

Or trimming a tramps beard while they are asleep on a park bench Shocked

Both would keep me busy and both have an element of danger.
And one would get me out of the house Thumbs Up

Ordering something from Europe thinking you've saved some money then getting hit for £57 in import taxes ... misread and though it had included taxes ....... ended up costing more than if I'd just ordered it from this country Twisted Evil

FTFY Wink

Thank fook Amazon stopped listing VAT separately as import taxes, as every Amazon EU deal posted was full of "OMG import taxes!!!" comments... and it was really grinding my gears.

This is going to happen Thumbs Up .
I’m going to re-connect the rear caliper and pump out the pistons.
Then I’ll look to see if they can be re-used or if I need new ones.

The back brake was working before it was taken off the bike.

ParcelFarce ... sitting about 10ft away from front door ... checked email around 10:30.

ParcelFarce attempted delivery at 9:38am, card left ........ no knock on door, no press of doorbell, no card ... fuckwit must have been using ESP to let me know he was trying to deliver.

In the afternoon I was upstairs, heard a knock, downstairs to find EVRI delivering a parcel ....... so I heard a knock over 20ft away, upstairs behind another door .... but didn't hear one 10ft away!!

Really feel like putting a note on the door along the lines of ....

*** DELIVERIES ***
1) KNOCKING LOUDLY OR PRESSING THE DOORBELL, WILL INDICATE TO ME THAT SOMEONE IS AT MY DOOR.

2) PLEASE NOTE, EITHER METHOD OF INDICATING YOUR PRESENCE DOES NOT IMMEDIATELY TELEPORT ME TO THE DOOR, IT WILL TAKE ME A FINITE AMOUNT OF TIME TO ANSWER, USUALLY WITHIN 5-20 SECONDS (DEPENDING ON MY LOCATION WITHIN THE HOUSE)!

3A) I WILL, OF COURSE, NEVER BE IN IF YOU DONT INDICATE ME TO THE FACT YOU ARE THERE AS I DO NOT CURENTLY SUPPORT ESP!

3B) IF, AFTER INDICATING YOUR PRESENCE YOU INSTANTLY WALK AWAY FROM THE DOOR, THEN YOU WILL ALSO ASSUME I AM NOT IN AS YOU WON'T BE THERE WHEN I ARRIVE AT THE DOOR!

The driver's taken a look at where you live in relation to the rest of their route and skipped you; they were never anywhere near your door.

A video doorbell would help if you wanted to complain.

Caught the miserable poe faced cuunt of a woman that delivers my Evri stuff on my dual camera doorbell yesterday
lobbing my package on to the ground and kicking it against the front step. It was a picture frame with glass in it, not
acrylic, luckily it was well packed inside the carton. The box was soaking wet also, it never got that wet between
her car and my front door so had clearly been sat outside in the rain before it got here. Went to Evri's site to complain
and attempt to submit the footage and gave up after a half hour.
