Blade fuse holder repair.. help!

Hi all.

FZ 750 has a broken wire on the ignition circuit close to fuse holder.
I wish to push out one of the terminals and re-fix with a new piece of
'good' wire..

But how the f*ck does one extract a terminal (see pic)..?

There will probably be a small tab that springs out to lock the connector in place when it's pushed home. You'll have to push that tab in somehow.

If all else fails you can get piggyback fuse holders...

Yes, you need a small shimming tool to insert into the connector block to push down the tab as you apply gentle traction to the terminal. If you search for terminal extractor tool, you'll find umpteen sets for extracting any number of different terminal types for much cheapness. Although I find a very fine watchmakers screwdriver usually does the trick.

I find old hacksaw blades make good 'poking tools'
and have made them with a bench grinder and/or Dremel

If the latch doesn't immediately free the terminal, a wee bit of twist often
helps it past the step in the connector body
