I was at an Intel product seminar and they had a new Net Station, Web Station... I blurted out "Bus Station!" I can't even remember what the actual products were, ____________________ Royal Enfield Continental GT 535, Husqvarna Vitpilen 401, Yamaha XSR700, Honda Rebel, Yamaha DT175, Suzuki SV650 (loan) Fazer 600, Keeway Superlight 125, 50cc turd scooter |

The venue was the local new stylee "Uni", so lots of Africans and a Starbucks manned/personed? by someone incapable of making a cup of tea but capable of charging £2:50 for the treating me to their performance of dipping a teabag in some milky hot water. Parking but only if you subjected yourself to some labyrinthine procedure of pre-registration and checking in. I just parked ten minutes walk away. There was an issue at the beginning of the day when an attendee told some factotum they had just registered their car with "the girl at the front desk", the little gnome like dweb looked like he was going to s#it himself at the information that someone had just completely circumvented the entire parking process, that or an employee being referred to by gender being a bit too much for his delicate constitution. Im back again tomorrow, so im going to grill "the girl" on motorcycle parking obv. |

Cheapest train to Cornwall: £70. Cheapest flight to Cornwall: £17
I still went on the train as Paddington is trivial to get to from where I live whereas the flight would have been from Stansted I might get a partial refund to cheer me up as the train arrived predictably late in St. Austell. ____________________ Royal Enfield Continental GT 535, Husqvarna Vitpilen 401, Yamaha XSR700, Honda Rebel, Yamaha DT175, Suzuki SV650 (loan) Fazer 600, Keeway Superlight 125, 50cc turd scooter |

I used to do a few jobs round Camden Lock way so I asked the geezer about parking. He gave me a roll of duct tape and pointed at the local Morissons ____________________ Royal Enfield Continental GT 535, Husqvarna Vitpilen 401, Yamaha XSR700, Honda Rebel, Yamaha DT175, Suzuki SV650 (loan) Fazer 600, Keeway Superlight 125, 50cc turd scooter |

You have to find the product first, which they don't make easy.
"I want this thing.".
"We'd prefer you to buy this other thing, and here are some other things other people bought".
"But where's the thing I actually want?"
"Oh, maybe page 6 or something. Remember that other thing we wanted you to buy? We'll just keep slotting that in for you."
"Can you just order the things in price order."
"Yes, no, maybe, kind of... I know you saw a cheaper thing before but now there are less things and that isn't one of them, and did we mention the thing we want you to buy? It's not the cheapest thing but we'll just put it at the top for you again." ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. I have an agreement with my boss that I will not be made to attend any such roleplay team building bullshit. I have made it clear I am incapable of taking such things seriously and will only play up, disrupting the session and probably upsetting the person who is running it. On the basis we will always still need someone to do the actual work about the place while these are going on, we've agreed that person is me.
It would appear the last one included deciding what breed of dog we were and a diatribe on why it's unhealthy to have your mobile phone next to your bed (not sleep hygiene, 5G rays!). We both now agree that it was very much for the best I didn't go because it would have concluded I am not a dog unless it's the sort of terrier that won't concede a point on pseudoscience and will continue to worry at it until long after it's dead. Also her fairground hypnotist style physical demonstration showing how she could easily push your arm down if you were holding a mobile phone in your hand would have landed up with her on the floor and me on a disciplinary. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink.
