I recently bought a 2001 Honda CB 600 F Hornet and it was running fine, I decided to clean the carburators since the owner told me it hadn't been done for some time, I just unscrewed everything, cleaned with some carb cleaner and put everything back together as it was before, but now the bike won't start, I let it sit for the night thinking maybe the gas needed to refill but today it's still not running.

I went on to check if I'm receiving fuel to the carbs unscrewing the drain screw and I am receiving fuel on the carb 1 and 2, at the start I saw some fuel dripping from carb 4 but I never received fuel on carb 3, after trying again I don't get any fuel on 4 as well. I tried opening the fuel cap, shaking the bike a little and also with the bike centered I still can't receive fuel on 3 and 4 anymore.

The fuel line seems fine and I don't know what to do now.

Might just need to be primed. Fuel wont run out of the tap without a vacuum being applied to the tap. No amount of sitting and waiting will make fuel run into the carbs.

So one thing you could try is opening the drain screws on the carbs that aren't getting fuel and either turning the engine over until fuel starts flowing or applying suction to the vacuum hose on the fuel tap.

It should self prime if you turn it over for long enough. Choke fully on and do not touch the throttle at all as you are trying to start it. With Mrs stinkwheels CBR600 (same motor as yours but more highly tuned) I usually turn the engine over in 10 second bursts followed by a 30 second rest. It can take 3 or 4 cycles of this to fire after a carb rebuild, then it usually picks up on one cyclinder first and the other three follow in the next 30 seconds. If you touch the throttle before it's firing on all 4, it will conk out. That's a bike with a fuel pump too, yours is gravity fed.

Moral of the story, if it's running fine, you don't need to clean the carburettors...

Are you sure you put them back together correctly? I'm thinking about floats upside down for example.

Could you even do that? I'm thinking the floats won't fit if you try to invert them on installation. If the bike indeed has a vacuum operated fuel tap, it probably just needs a little help to fill the carb float bowls.

In some cases I think you can.. making the tang all wrong. Or did I dream it? Confused
