When they said stumpy I didn't realise just how stumpy. The bike sounds like a sewing machine at the moment. This should help with that. I'm not sure I like it, it's maybe too stumpy.

Kevlar leggings for a little extra protection under my kevlar-lined jeans or textile trousers. Also extra warmth for these cold commutes.

Bought some posh scented candles for over the Christmas period as I have a heavy smoker coming to stay over the hols, and I wanted to have some defence against the fug. (Yes I have already told him he has to smoke outside as much as possible Laughing - but I know I will give in)

But I already started to use them cos I wanted to see how they smelt and liked them so much ... I left them burning.

Have to buy some more now Laughing
Yay!

PCB mounted LED voltmeter for on my bikes. Takes the guesswork out.

I saw them on a listing for £4.30 each or £7.20 for three. There was a picture showing four LED colours so I assumed I'd get a random one. Turns out it was actually all four so I now have 12 of them. 60p each.

It occurred to me that they should just make these built-in on vehicle batteries. If they are posting them out to me at 60p each, they are probably less than 20p each in bulk. How handy would it be to have an internittant switch on top of your battery that makes it display the current voltage on a built-in voltmeter?

I'm gonna swap in a Lithium-Ion battery for the Husky and they all have a voltage check button. The case is mostly fresh air so easy to add.

I thought I'd better pull my finger out as I am expecting the Military Type over Christmas.

Going to have to go in person to leg a leg of lamb, but in the meatime I have snagged a Christmas delivery slot from Morrisons on the Saturday before (actually the day he arrives) so I'm buying fucking mince pies (I hate them) and Christmas Pudding (which I can barely eat, and even then only with loads of cream and/or custard).

The things I do for my friends.
Rolling Eyes

Might have to make a list.
Might have to visit some posher places than Morrisons in my spare time ... Thinking
