Hi Folks,
Hope you are all well.
Has anyone changed over their alloy clutch basket to a steel one?
My gear shifting is beginning to get a little stiff or harder to shift again and I'm worried it will only get worse Sad
I've already once sanded down the 'notches' on the alloy clutch basket 'tongues' which made is much better but after several hundred miles, the 'notchiness' is becoming little more apparent again.
Thumbs Up

Haven't done it but sounds like a worthwhile upgrade. Back in the day, we used to have automatic transmission cases modified with steel inserts after the clutches wore grooves into the splines. Worked a treat and significantly improved the performance and service life of the transmissions. Wink
